Down in the Brewery this evening. Black IPAs on compare! Which is which?

Which is which? Both are Cream Ales. One commercial, one ours.

Normally we'd ask, "which is which?". But in this case left is us, right is commercial. Both are the exact same style, Trappist Single. Just a PSA that beers, even within the same style can vary wildly.

Ours is closer to a Belgian Pale, theirs a Belgian Dubbel.

From the limited Lind Brewing Cellar Series. 13% ABV Belgian Tripel aged on bourbon soaked oak cubes.

Belgian spice aroma, medium body, highly carbonated, finishing with sweet vanilla notes from the bourbon.

It's been a while for one of these! Which is which? All Cream Ales.
