All Things New

Mikal's Miracle is done! Wow! What a project. I learned a lot from this set, like how to operate a power sander in each hand 😜 I love this hobby. Makes my heart and soul at peace. Delivered today with my buddy Wooki 🐶 I was sceptical of the combination of the sexy clawfoot table legs and the bulkiness of the the chairs. I couldn't be happier and I think Mikal will ❤ it. This project for a dear friend has a name! Mikal's Miracle! Mostly because it will take a miracle to get this to look presentable and suitable enough to grace the gathering area of an amazing woman's new home, in a very new chapter of her life. More pics to come!

Love making the old look new! Found a steal on barstools that were pretty hammered, with chipped paint and broken seats. $20 for 4 stools🙌 They match my existing seating nearly perfect. Leather fabric for $6.78 in the remnant pile (score!). Painted with Rustoleum Oil-based black gloss for easy cleaning.

At my house, we name all of our vehicles. It may seem weird to some, but I think every vehicle has its own personality and “issues “😬 I am beginning to feel the same about furniture. So, I named this piece “Lucy the Leper”. She had been left out in the weather and is over 100 years old. Chipping white paint, warped, wobbly and unstable, but great strong bones! One of the more challenging projects I have done, but WOW! What a transformation ❤️ Thank you for trusting me to make something out of her! I hope you love it, and she gets many more years of use! @ Bountiful, Utah

Finished Grandma’s hope chest for to store treasures in. It was water damaged from a basement flood and had cracked legs. Removed them and put on swivel casters, sanded the cracks and chips to oblivion and put a fresh coat of and sealed with clear wax. We love it! It will stay in the family for many more years ❤️ @ Bountiful, Utah

Grandpa Earl’s filing cabinet became my vanity’s side kick to hold my hot hair tools. I drilled a hole for an internal mounted power strip! Love these projects.
