My first question for my clients: Do you lift weights?

What is a KNOT 🪢?
Truth is, nobody really knows. All that we know is that they hurt super bad. 😂
There are theories upon theories, but the most evident is that knots or trigger points are ischemic (without blood flow). The tight muscle band is reducing circulation, reducing ROM, causing pain and giving you a headache.
Treatments include Botox, Hot & Cold therapy and Massage Therapy. Botox only NUMBS the muscle — it’s not going to take care of the problem. Hot & Cold Therapy along with Massage Therapy INCREASE oxygen and blood flow. Deep Tissue, Muscle Scraping and Cupping help to break down adhesions, scar tissue, lactic acid, and tight myofascial tissue to help your muscles receive the much needed blood flow to heal, recover and function optimally!

It is not just me that needs to put in the work to achieve a great BodyWork session. You are just as much as the facilitator as I am!
MEDITATE: Meditating or doing something calm right before your session helps your body to prepare to let go of tension.
LESS TALKING: I know — I love talking to you too. A little conversation is okay, but often times, talking too much distracts your mind (and mine) from the purpose of BodyWork and Massage.
COMMUNICATE: This is so important. In order for your session to go well and be productive, you will need to tell me all of your wants, needs and what you expect to achieve from your session(s). If I have a clear idea of what you need, your session will be smooth and efficient. That includes telling me if I need to move over a bit to hit that spot in your back. 😉 Obviously not all expectation can be meticulously met, but we can set up a plan that eventually will get you there!
