My name is Jen Bones and I am in my eighth year working at Mapleton. I have worked in education for close to 20 years! Some of my favorite things about Mapleton are the amazing building and grounds, the unbelievable staff and mostly, the wonderful families and children that attend here.
When I'm not working, I love to spend time outdoors, be creative, and play board games. The picture is of my family-husband Michael, and son Everett, on a hike in Lyons.

Today, please meet Ms. Eliza!
My name is Eliza Kraham and I am
thrilled to be your child’s preschool teacher. This will be my 9th year at Mapleton
working as an early childhood special education teacher. I am very excited
about having your child in my preschool class and look forward to a great year
working with your family. Partnerships with families are key and we value
collaboration with families here at Mapleton. We are committed to making the
classroom a safe learning environment for your child and look forward to the
growth they will experience. My goal is to make your child's preschool
experience positive, fun, exciting and enriching.

Today, please meet Ms. Laura!
I’m a paraeducator at Mapleton. I love working with children and encouraging their natural curiosity and creativity. I’m from New York and moved to Boulder in 1995. I have a 19 year old son who is studying engineering in college (I miss him!). In my free time, I like to ski, hike, paddle board, travel and spend my summers at the beach with family.

Today, please meet Ms. Abigail!
Hi, all! My name is Ms. Abigail Gogolewski and this is my 3rd year as a 1st Para at Mapleton in Eliza's classroom.! I am originally from Austin Minnesota, best known as the world headquarters of SPAM! (fun fact) I moved to Colorado over 7 years ago and have fallen in love with the mountains and life surrounding them. I live here in Boulder with my partner, Ryan and we love to go out to eat, exploring all the good food spots together and with friends! I am a fan of all things True Crime, spending time outdoors, cooking with friends, and expanding my knowledge in charcuterie as Ryan and I hope to open our own business in the near future! I originally went to college in 2017 for Massage Therapy but fell in love with teaching after watching both my parents teach many different grades for 20+ years. I feel so lucky to be at Mapleton and start a new, exciting career path in the Early Childhood Center. I am looking forward to meeting you and your littles ones and having the best year ever with Ms. Eliza!!

"My name is Ms. Gina, and I'm the early childhood special education teacher in the Autism Intensive Learning Center (ILC) classroom. I love teaching preschool because I get to encourage curiosity, celebrate little wins every day, and watch kids discover the world in their own unique way! I'm originally from Boulder and went to CU. Go Buffs! When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jason, our two kids—Kaia (8) and Luca (5)—and our dog, Bodie. I love to play games, do puzzles, ski, snowboard, play soccer, listen to music, and read."

"I am the School Social Worker at Mapleton this year. This is my 15th year in BVSD, and 14th year working in ECE. I love preschool and I am so lucky to be here!
I have my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver, and a Masters Certificate and Educational Leadership for Compassion and Dignity Practices. I am a current Doctoral candidate for a Doctor of Social Work.
I am originally from Costa Rica. I have a daughter who is 5 and we have 3 dogs! My mom is very important to me, and a passionate advocate for people with disabilities. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and it is an absolute honor to work with our students this year!

"I support children in the classroom as they learn and enhance their social skills and emotional regulation. In addition to working with students, I am available to meet with guardians regarding questions and issues that arise related to the parenting journey. When I’m not at work, I love to read, dance, hike and spend time with my two children and dog."

"I am the occupational therapist at Mapleton! I am originally from New York and I moved to Colorado in 2017. I love spending time with my family; my husband Martin, sons Gavin and Marshall, and two dogs, Roxy and Rupert. I love being outdoors. I love to hike, go swimming, and camping. I also LOVE the beach and I love to travel. In my free time I like to read, listen to music, and eat yummy food."
