Cuban Fusion

In my years on this earth, I realized Memories are important. So, I'm going to start a "reunion of friends". The idea is to see who reads a post without a picture. The way people view you.

Sometimes I think about the different characters I play in everybody’s story.

I’m a terrible person in some people's narratives and a Godsend in others.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And none of it has anything to do with the person I truly am.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The lens that others view you through is coloured by their upbringing, beliefs, and individual experiences.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people see your bright personality as endearing and others see it as annoying.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people think you’re weak and emotional and others feel safe to be themselves around you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people think you’re rude and selfish and others respect the way you stand up for yourself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people admire the way you take pride in the way you look and others think you’re conceited.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And none of it has to do with who you truly are as a person.

What you have to understand is that you have no authority over how people view you so never try to control the way others see you because the only thing that truly matters when the dust settles down at the end of the day is what you genuinely see in yourself.

Happy Heavenly Mothers Day Mom. I’ve missed your smile, your laugh and most of all your hugs. Just this morning I was driving down the road and picked up my phone to call you. I looked at my phone in my hand and just shook my head. Pulled over stepped out of my car, looked up to the sky and just wanted to tell you I love you.

Cuban Fusion will be at McCarthys Pub in Longmont,Co Friday and Sat nights from 5-9p. Stop by and take a Cubano home for dinner or stay and have dinner and drinks here at the Pub.

When all you have in the freezer is meat and a Treager on the deck, plus all free time in the world! Why not smoke it!! Lunch and dinners for the next few weeks.

The special tonight! Smoked, then braised baby back ribs with mojo rice, sofrito black beans and sweet plantains. They were a hit!!

We can’t wait to be apart of the 4th of July celebrations and Brew Fest this year.
