Welcome to Tortuguero National Park, a true jungle paradise where land meets water. You can explore it partly on foot and partly by boat—and trust me, the boat tour is a must! 🚤✨

During our guided trip, we spotted iguanas, monkeys, sloths, colorful birds, and even a turtle gliding through the water. The sounds of the rainforest and the peaceful glide through the canals made it feel like a movie scene. 🌴🦜🐒

One of the most cherished holiday traditions in Costa Rica is making and sharing tamales—a flavorful and festive treat enjoyed by families all across the country.

Unlike the Mexican version, Costa Rican tamales are made with a base of corn dough (masa) and are filled with a savory mix of rice, beans, potatoes, and often seasoned meat like chicken, pork, or beef. They’re carefully wrapped in banana leaves, tied with string, and steamed perfectly.
