Stronger everyday 🙌
One thing I have added in the past month is short hill strides to increase my cadence and focus on redirecting my bouncing energy forward as my hamstring gets back to 100%.

Good news is that my balance metrics are stable and don’t worsen as I become more fatigued! This was a fun data point that we were able to see post race.

Continuing to dial it in one week at a time.

2026 kit ✅🔥

Smiling to be racing & my first time at the great …but the reality is I was in tears 2 days ago…
“When will I feel like myself again?”

Still, I want to race myself back to the top. I love to compete. I know I’ll get to 100% and I am gaining momentum every race effort.

4th overall today
(got out kicked the last downhill 200m iykyk)

Cheers to continuing to show up!

Building a strong base with good form has been our main priority as I comeback to full fitness with my focus on a fall marathon!

It feels so good to be finding my rhythm again at quicker paces and I’ve been using Stryd Duo data to help lead the way. I still have plenty of work to do, but the support I have has been a source of strength.

Trading altitude for humidity for a few days ☀️🙃

Feels good to get some faster efforts in at sea level before I line up again!

March was for getting back to start lines with a pain free hamstring & having a baseline of fitness for 2026!

Ready to put my head down and add a few more stimulus for the next month 🔜

This has been a humbling and very hard comeback, but one thing I know about myself is my ability to work hard!!

The gift may come quickly, but the maturity to carry it well takes time.
Faith isn’t only about receiving; it’s about becoming. The waiting season is where we learn that God’s timing is not slow - it’s strategic.

On Sunday morning on the bus to the start line of the I was reading this on my phone as part of my daily devotion. I comprehended it, but I didn’t think too much about it…until I was well into the 13.1 miles.

I was beyond happy to be back on a start line pain free after a year of playing stop & go due to what turned out to be a chronic high-grade partial tear of the left common hamstring origin tendon.

It has taken a lot of patience and gradual building to be where I am now and no step can be skipped.
Another step completed after racing 2x✔️
Now, we can get to the next level of fitness knowing my hamstring is healthy 📈

Remember: it’s Not slow- it’s Strategic
When we learn to wait without giving up, we learn the ability to stay calm under pressure.

THANK YOU for putting on another amazing event! (Over 30,000 finishers & 1 being my gal 😚)

I’ll keep sharing my very realistic return to full form in hopes that it resonates with you!
