We are pleased to announce the Grand Opening for the newly renovated Roosevelt Park – now with an area. The Grand Opening will take place tomorrow (Saturday, 5/16) from 11 am to 1 pm. We hope to see you there!

Our friends at Habitat for Humanity are opening their new ReStore location (33 South Pratt Parkway). Please join them for their Grand Opening Celebration on May 16th.

Many thanks to the Habitat team, donors and volunteers for making this new location happen!

A lot can happen in a year!

Construction for a full rehabilitation project is moving into the later stages of construction.

When complete, this modest two-story home will add an additional 120 SF to the second floor, high thermal performing and R-30 wall and R-60 spray foam will be installed. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems will be upgraded for modern convenience.

A lot can happen in a few weeks with pre-engineered metal buildings.

GTC started the steel er****on of the column frames, wall girts, and roof purlins at spans ranging from 23 feet to 28 feet. Large 27-foot-tall openings have been placed on the northeast and east ends of the building to allow comfortable access for waste vehicles, front end loaders, and roll off trucks.

Attention Beer Fans! A production homecoming arrives at our neighbors April 9 with a Tapping & Pint Night. Another business with strong Boulder roots is bringing back production on some of its most-iconic brews.

Steel er****on continues at the Longmont Safety & Justice Center.

The physical form of the new addition is starting to take shape as the tower element has been erected and the parapet posts have been placed.

Exciting updates at the Roosevelt Park Playground Renovation and Senior Fitness Exercise Circuit!

Recent improvements include the sidewalk formwork and rebar reinforcement for the sidewalk edge of the new playground area. The reinforcement provides a structural edge for the playground surfaces being installed.

The new slab for a senior-friendly exercise circuit is completed. Once the project is completed this area will feature 8 fitness machines including upper and lower body and cardio.

A cornerstone of the new playground is a We-Go Swing – a swing for all levels of mobility!

A big milestone was recently met!

The first of two slab pours commenced as GTC laid approximately 2,500 cubic yards of concrete at the Western Disposal Services Tiger Building.

At the push wall/ pit areas, the 8” reinforced concrete slab is using a high-density mix of materials, including Spray-LOC, and added air to increase the durability and longevity of the slab.
