Tom has been training in our adult fitness classes for about a year. Tom is a father of several kids and loves to adventure. We are pumped to be able to help Tom do what he loves and be a good roll model for his family. These are the text we as coaches love getting! “Hey, wanted to say thank you. There is no way I would have survived out there today without the help and strength from the class. I haven’t run a marathon length in 8 years, the fact I was able to increase my elev 1700 feet more overall, finish in the same time but longer distance would have never been possible without the class and instruction. Hall is not a “kind” trail, so this was a huge win for me today….plus it being my first mini ultra.” ~ Tom Keep up the good work Tom!
Just a small snap shot of things you might see at at ITC on a given day! We are thankful for each person who enters our doors and calls ITC home.
Some of our trainers, adult athletes, and youth athletes crushed a Spartan Race this weekend in Colorado Springs!
What’s your why? This is ours.
A message to the athletes.
We often make post of all the amazing things you guys are doing in your sports and in the gym. Thankfully there is always something awesome to post about.
But we need to be careful. This can be dangerous and unrealistic. We shouldn’t only post the personal records and the wins. That’s not what makes us grow and become better. It’s the losses, the failures, and the mistakes that make us grow. These are the events that make us reflect more on what we can do to grow and become who we are destined to be.
We don’t want to only praise you for the wins and records you all break. Everyone gets praised for those. We want to praise you for showing up day after day, rain or shine, win or lose.
We just want to take a post and give a shout out to each athlete who shows up, puts in the work, and keeps a great attitude regardless of if they are setting new records or winning playoff games.
Those things rarely happen and it’s unrealistic to expect them to always happen. That’s not how life works.
What works in life is staying consistent, showing up, and working hard. If we focus on this instead of always trying to Win the next game or setting the new record, you might surprise yourself and those other things might start to follow.
We love you all regardless of if you set a PR or win a state title.
Keep up the hard work athletes! What a great school year. Let’s get ready for an awesome summer.
Do you enjoy the struggle or the victory?
In The Core would not be what it is today without the heart and soul of all the amazing female athletes we get the opportunity to train each week!
