The Center provides direct services to the University community, including the recycling program, the student bus pass and bicycle programs, and energy conservation and renewable energy programs. The Center engages in the community with the environmental justice and earth education programs, and by sponsoring educational events.

Meet the Green Greeks reps!
Green Greeks is comprised of Green Greek-representatives from each house and the Greek-wide sustainability coordinators who supervise their efforts. The goals of a Green Greek-rep include establishing behaviors that aim to lower the carbon footprint, energy usage, and wasteful tendencies of their house and active members. Becoming a Green Greeks Representative is easy and it is always recruiting season!

Support the CU Environmental Center’s CU in the Garden Internship team! Help lead interns through the growing season, manage community partnerships, and garden spaces in and around CU Boulder. Coordinate interns' field trips to local farms, food pantries, and learning about local food security initiatives. Maintain records and programming for plantings, harvest, and intern participation. Assist the Graduate and Family Housing, Community Food Share, and the Boulder Food Rescue by donating and distributing harvests along with diverted food waste. Onboarding and training begins in April and work continues through the fall. Ideal candidate has more than one season in the role.

The Environmental Board's Circular Economy Subcommittee wants to give your lonely single glove a new friend! Drop off your partnerless gloves until March 9th.

Since 2005, the Sustainable CU Grant has funded on campus sustainability projects through student fees. If you have an idea that advances renewable energy, recycling, waste reduction, or innovative climate solutions, we want to see it.

How does our relationship with land shape the way we think about sustainability?
Join the Climate Justice Foundations Team for a gathering exploring Indigenous land stewardship, reciprocity, rematriation, and sovereignty. Together, we will reflect on conservation, ecology, and our shared responsibilities while learning from guest speaker Courtney Eddy King (Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma). Registration requested. Food provided with all diets considered.

Join the Climate Justice Foundations Program as we explore Climate Justice Research. Learn about various research processes that center community engagement, are participatory-led, and aimed at addressing equity and justice regarding climate issues. We will have an opportunity to learn more about the impactful work climate justice researchers are doing and think creatively and expansively about how we can continue to center equity and justice, ensuring the research is beneficial to the community. All are welcome, but registration is requested- we will have a catered dinner (all diets considered).
