Ski mountaineering is WILD!

It’s been an absolute blast to team up with Doug Stenclik (owner of Cripple Creek Backcountry, WildSnow.com, and Cosmic Series race promoter) on my two Aspen Power of Four races, where we nabbed a 4th and 5th place at this US National Championship event and the premier ski mountaineering race in the USA.

For the last 10 years, Doug has been one of the hardest driving players of the sport of ski mountaineering in Colorado and in the US.

Can’t help but smile on a bike!

It’s been a heck of a busy, tiring, but rewarding summer leading the weekly & Saturday Road Ride & Sunday Gravel Adventure Ride literally EVERY-SINGLE-WEEKEND since May (minus a weekend due to sickness).

Every Saturday & Sunday for over 30 weekends in a row I had the privilege to pass on my knowledge and stoke from a decade in the sport (riding a million miles, always exploring new routes and trails) to hundreds of locals, tourists, and newcomers both to the sport and to town.

My hope is that I can have made a positive impact in someone’s life through the power of bikes, exercising in the outdoors, and pushing hard up a grade!
