Under the Harvest Moon is a unique opportunity to experience Light Root at one of the most beautiful times of day—while supporting the work that happens here all year long.

At Light Root, the farm is the vessel for education, connection, mental health, and healing. Through experiences with the land, plants, animals, and one another, people of all ages have opportunities to learn, grow, build resilience, and find belonging.

From caring for farm animals and exploring the gardens to hands-on farm projects, nature play, and meaningful connections, campers experience the rhythms of life on our working farm while building confidence, curiosity, and community.
