EVEN Affiliated Faculty Michael Gooseff and a team of USGS collaborators are currently working to gather the first-ever continuous water quality sample of the upper Colorado River basin. Our very own EVEN masters student, Kylie Boenish-Oakes, spoke at the Water Quality and Technology Conference (WQTC) in Illinois. She gave two talks, one on disinfection byproduct (DBP) formation in a conventional drinking water and direct potable reuse water and another on the impact of saltwater intrusion on DBP formation!

Congratulations to one of the EVEN capstone design teams who received an honorable mention in NREL’s HeroX Solar District Cup competition! Team members Hannah Dirks, Sawyer Johnson, Gwendolyn King, William Lammons, and Sarah Millican designed a $15 million solar system for the University of Washington to maximize energy offset. Led by faculty advisor James Harper, the team competed against 250 teams from around the globe.
