What a year it’s been🙌🏻
Exactly 364 days after her arrival in Boulder, Ralphie VII closed out her debut season under the Saturday Night Lights of Folsom Field. A special thank you to all of the fans who cheered her on while she learned the ropes and grew in to her spot as the most famous buffalo in the world❤️Many more nights of Ralphie doing her thing are on the horizon. For now, she’s earned a winter of grazing, relaxation, and extra treats. CU at the spring game. RUN RALPHIE RUN

Ralphie VII will take her last laps of the season tomorrow night with our three senior Ralphie Handlers leading the way. As leaders of the team, they played a major role in training Ralphie VII and her preparing her for this season. Please join us in thanking our outstanding seniors for their hard work, dedication, and unrelenting commitment!

Matthew Winston, Senior, Business Analytics:
“I wanted to be part of the best college sports tradition in history. Little did I know this would be the best decision I could have ever made. Joining the team has pushed me to always be the best version of myself, and I never thought I would have a buffalo as a running buddy!”

Olivia Drobnich, Senior, Integrative Physiology:
“I fell in love with watching Ralphie run out on the field, and I wanted to experience that feeling for myself. I knew that I wanted to be a part of the most incredible team and tradition at CU. Being part of this team has given me life-long friends, valuable lessons in hard work, and the privilege of caring for the most incredible buffalo on the planet.”

Cristian Lomoro, Senior, Finance:
“I tried out to be a Ralphie Handler because of the thought of how insane it would be to have 50,000 fans yelling while I ran alongside a buffalo on Folsom Field. I also missed the camaraderie and bond that came with being on a team. I’m eternally grateful to have been able to not only make life-long friends but also be a part of history in this amazing program.”
