Hiiiii to new followers and ride-or-dies 💜 I thought I would be a good time to reintroduce myself on here since it’s been a while.
👋🏼I’m Marissa, 30 y/o, I grew up in Wisconsin and spent most of my adult life in Colorado.

I’ve been working with borosilicate glass for 12 years and kilnformed glass for years prior to that.
I’ve known since I was young that I loved art and wanted to try using that passion/skill to support myself. That’s been quite the journey! ~
I saw a documentary about the glass pipe scene when I was 18 and immediately searched for an apprenticeship. That landed me in CO for a few months where I learned the basics of production pipemaking. After that I self taught, never really took any classes or went back to school. I shifted to making primarily jewelry a few years in. To be honest, I’m baffled to find myself still working with glass for a living. Couldn’t do it without my followers on here, seriously love yall 🥹

Besides that, more about me 💜
🪴I collect/hoard houseplants and have crammed as many as I possibly could into my tiny apartment (still not enough)
🎨 I used to paint a lot— subject matter?? You guessed it, plants (mostly trees)
🏔️I’m obsessed with mountains, hiking and backpacking - deep down I wanna abandon society and be a feral hiker trash girlie
🌙I’ve been seriously studying astrology for years and want to do readings one day soon. I usually know where all the planets are and what major aspects are happening at any given moment.
⚕️ADHD/depression/PMDD have shaped my life, forced me to learn a lot about myself, and often have held me back. You’re not alone if you struggle with mental health - you can still follow your dreams at your own pace 🫶🏻 (btw these things lead to slow message responses or forgotten messages and I’m truly sorry & grateful for your patience!!)
