Library Collaborations to Engage Local Public Audiences
Libraries are wonderful venues for reaching new audiences, as they are community hubs that are free and open to all. During this online workshop we will learn all about the Space Science Institute's (SSI) NASA @ My Library program and the STAR (Science-Technology Activities and Resources) Library Network (STAR net) and how museums can partner with libraries from across the US to strengthen their community engagement. The workshop will include resources and approaches to building relationships with libraries in your community. We will also hear first hand from libraries and museums who have had successful partnerships using these materials and strategies to deepen community engagement.
