Thank you to Susan Rona, Director of the ADL's Mountain States Region, for writing this piece to help us remember the importance of today, June 1, the anniversary of the attack against Jews in Boulder, CO.

Another powerful learning opportunity with our partners.
Earlier this year, more than 1,100 Jewish clergy across all Jewish denominations and from 48 states signed a powerful public letter created by Keshet and Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism affirming the dignity and rights of transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people. Now, four of those leaders are coming together to talk about what comes next.
Join Rabbi Daniel Bogard, Cantor Sheri Allen, Rabbi Sandra Lawson, and Rabbi Eliana Kayelle, Keshet Bay Area Education & Training Manager, for a powerful panel conversation on mobilizing Jewish communities for LGBTQ+ justice. Inspired by the clergy letter, together we'll explore how Jewish values call us to act—from building deeper belonging within our own congregations to advocating in the public square on issues that shape the lives of LGBTQ+ people across the country.
Whether you're a clergy member, lay leader, or community member looking to turn values into action, this conversation will offer grounding, strategy, and inspiration for the work ahead.

After many years, the small Torah in our ark that has been owned by Dalia Cohen (formerly Winicki) will be returning with her to San Diego to enter a new stage of its journey. Come and say farewell to the Sucher Family Torah as we learn its story and hear about its next stage of life!

Congregation Har HaShem is thrilled to welcome new and returning families to Prizma for the 2026–27 school year.
Thank you to all the families who have already registered. Your early commitment helps us plan thoughtfully for the year ahead, including class placements, teacher assignments, room planning, and budgeting.
We’re also excited to share that Prizma is being reimagined for grades 8–12 in 2026–27.
Based on feedback from students, parents, and the HHS Education Committee, we’re building a program rooted in research and designed to better support teens through some of the most formative years of their Jewish journey.
Learn more about our offerings and register for the upcoming school year today.
Questions? Reach out anytime to Karli ([email protected]) or Daniel ([email protected]).

Congregation Har HaShem is heartbroken by yesterday’s attack on the Islamic Center of San Diego. Three lives were lost, including that of heroic security guard Amin Abdullah, who gave his life protecting his community. Our synagogue community knows the fear of hatred targeting a house of worship, and we stand in full solidarity with our Muslim neighbors.
Hate directed at any faith community is hate directed at all of us. We pray for the families of the victims, for healing, and for a community where every house of worship is safe.
