Behind every Kona finish there is a story. Behind Mandy there is a story of perseverance. I started working with her in 2014 and she missed her Kona qualifying by one spot. She kept at it but a few injuries kept her training down not to mention misdiagnosis. But her Kona qualifying came at Ironman Taiwan. Very exciting indeed until Covid showed up and the Hawaii race was cancelled for years. So much uncertainty until this last Saturday. She finished and all I can say it’s Mandy you are an Ironman! Congratulations!!! Train Smart, Get Results ®
