TECHNE is a practice-based digital arts research initiative founded by Professor Mark Amerika, at the University of Colorado at Boulder in November 2002. The TECHNE initiative develops innovative approaches to the invention of new forms of knowledge generally considered to be both artistic and scholarly. In 2002, Amerika wrote the "What Is Techne?" white paper and has just added a significant 2016 addendum. You can read it at:http://art.colorado.edu/research/amerika_techne.pdf

Just in! Read Gary Hall's "The Inhumanist Manifesto" where he writes:

95 Theses is now published! Read about America's eminent poet Charles Bernstein as he uses terms from Erving Goffman's Frame Analysis to make a case for shifts in moods and style in scholarly writing.
