“Zorro, my mechanic, is prepping our bikes while we're sleeping and having breakfast for our biggest ride day. Cycling and lunch on our route after which the last part is on the SAG/bus winding up in Santiago de Cuba.

This is Cuba's second largest city where so much history and culture was born and where Salsa music and dance was invented. So of course after a great dinner we have a dance lesson at a rooftop Salsa Dance School close to our lodging. It's soo much fun and cleverly the next day is Rest & Beach Day #2 !!!”

Cuba Cultural Bicycle Tour-Day 3
We get an early start to a long, adventurous day by crossing the Bay of Gibara in the local ferry (barco) and meet-up with our SAG wagon and bikes to ride to our next destination near Guardalavaca beach. We stop for lunch at a private restaurant (paladar) and wrap up with a Cuban Fiesta at my friend's home/farm. Delicious food, beer, rum, live music and dancing with some of the local villagers and our hosts!
