The City of Boulder Parks & Recreation Forestry Division and PLAY Boulder Foundation are happy to announce that we are giving away trees to City of Boulder residents in neighborhoods with low tree canopy and higher than average heat exposure.

Please fill out the following form, linked in our bio, and we will determine if you are eligible to receive a free tree based on tree equity.

This week we wrapped up our spring Tree Tenders trainings in Boulder with a planting of five trees at East Boulder Community Park. 👫🌳 Thank you to all our incredible partners for helping make these trainings happen, and to all the community members who showed up and are now official Tree Tenders! We can't wait for a spring and summer filled with tree giveaways and planting events, and are grateful for these opportunities to educate folks on how to best keep the trees in our community alive and thriving. ☀

Happy April, Boulder County! This month we have our first tree giveaway of the season at Boulder Farmers Market on April 18th, starting at 8 a.m. while supplies last. Join us at LaMont Does Park on Saturday, April 4th from 11am to 1pm to learn more about an exciting new residential urban forestry program coming to the City of Lafayette!

Participants receive a free tree, free tree care tools, and tree care support from the Tree Trust to help you care for your new tree.
