Two Hawks Dancing
Two Hawks Dancing was an omen in the sky for my husband and myself and that is where we received the name.
I am a self taught jewelry artist, and have been making jewelry for years off and on and have been told you should sell your jewelry.

To continue a little bit with my story; Coming back , we stopped in Green River, Wyoming to visit with some friends for a time. We went fossil hunting, and trout fishing at Flaming George. It's really nice to fish where you actually catch fish.
I'm sorry, I've had a lot going on lately. Will try and continue my vacation story tomorrow. I didn't forget just in another place for a while.

To continue from yesterday, My story goes like this: We were warned about bears, and now they have lock boxes for your food, if you are camping which they did not have before, and of course you hear about the giant volcano, which we traveled all around on the rim. But my story is not about any of these. It is about a huge Buffalo. We were in the van and my other half decided to stop and check out this buffalo standing right beside the road. We looked at him and then decided to leave, and to our supprise, as he was there just so calm, he started to charge at the van, so we just hit the gas and was out of there. Glad we were not in our cabrolet at the time.

Just a note for tomorrow: I will be continuing with a story about some of the wildlife, and this is my old baby, that took us there. Great transportation for a starving artist, don't you think?

Back again today with part 3. The night we arrived at Yellowstone, I thought we were going to buy it for sure as we had to go over this mountain, that was just before you arived at the entrance to the parks. Between The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. It was pitch black, with winding roads, no lines on them and no lights and we were in the middle of a blizzard white out. Not a good place to be at all. There wasn't any visibility. Remember, this is June 11th. On our way we already knew that all the rivers, creeks and lakes were running high and flooding their banks. Good thing is we made it. Anyway I am setting up an album of Some of my pics.

I promised I would tell you the story about Bubbas, and here it is: When my daughter was 12, we took our very first trip to Yellowstone. We stopped at Jackson Hole, Wyoming to get a bite to eat and found Bubbas. My daughter enjoyed the place so much that we decided to check it out and see if it was still there. Of course we had no idea if it still existed, 24 years later. Well we found it, and funny thing, Bubbas had moved accross the street from it's original location just the month before. So this time her son, our grandson, got to repeat history, or you could say, walk in his mother's footsteps. So here I am in front of Bubbas with Big A.

I will start now, not exactly from the beginning, but introducing who Two Hawks Dancing is. We, my husband and myself are a team of artistic people. that have been together for almost 43 years, who are into the enviorment, nature and healthy food and natural medicine. No, we are not trying to sell you any of this. Just trying to let you know who we are. As some of you know, we were on vacation this past June with our 17 year old grandson, camping. Not too far from home, more or less our back yard. Colorado and our neighboring states. This first pic was taken in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, located between The Grand Tetons & Yellowstone Nation Park. Pic is of Gerry and Leo (my husband). Tomorrow I will tell a story about this resturant and why we took the pic here. I also will start some albums for you to view. Hope you will join us.
Finally getting my pics from my trip. Will start posting my experiences on Tuesday. So please feel free to join me.
This past week-end I spent in Nederland, Colorado setting up my displays at the two stores that carry my jewelry. They are The Artists Niche and One Brown Mouse. Maybe this summer I'll have better luck. I am still on Etsy and Artfire, but I don't seem to have any luck there. Right now I need some supplies but I am really broke. Now I really understand the term "Starving Artist." My granddaughter has one test to go.
My granddaughter had her CT scan today and so far everything is looking good. She will be seeing her doctor tomorrow. Glad that's over, really scared us.
