Some pictures from Bear Canyon, rock walls, camps for homeless tools, rock shaping, we got it all. Thanks to Dave for taking the pictures. Most of these rocks have funky fault lines that are never square and splitting nicely isn't always possible.

Winding down Bear Canyon on one of the most difficult sections of the entire job. Highline and chain hoist are setup for step placement and we'll likely have retaining wall throughout. Soil quality of the whole trail alternates between doo doo and hot garbage in erosion resistance, so we are consistently working through bedrock and putting in 1200+ ft of retaining wall for

Hiring Trail Crew members, starting at $24/hr just outside of Boulder. If your brain works gud and you can show up and work hard, pay goes up after one pay period. Must be in good shape and be able to put in a good day of physical labor. Trail experience not necessary. All employees have federal holidays and paid sick leave accrual, long-term employees have vacation pay, and working on health care for 2021.

Job will be M-F, 40+ hours a week.

on Bear Canyon in Boulder, Colorado. Thats 3 pulleys, 0 mechanical advantage just because nobody wanted to wind up 200 feet of cable on our power winch to move this perfect step rock into place on the trail for the city of Boulder. 120 rock steps, 1200 square feet of rock walls, 300 cubic feet of hammered bedrock. Good ole times. Thats me giggling.

Looking for 4-6 full time trail crew workers to start in May and June. Includes heavy hand labor, mechanized equipment, rock shaping. High line experience and/or trail construction experience would be useful, but not required. Must be available M-F, 40 hours a week. May be some overtime.
