A lil' speechless right now! My monthly listener is the closest to 100k that it's ever been. I've always imagined that reaching 100k would be a huge milestone, like a leap from "emerging" to "emerged" artist, or a Pokémon evolving from Bulbasaur to Ivysaur or Charmander to Charmeleon or Pikachu to Raichu ⚡️
Think I'll get to 100k by the end of the month? 🙃

Someone asked me earlier this year if I thought I would reach 100k this year, and I said maybe, I hope so! They confidently told me they think that I will. I didn't realize it would be this early on in the year! Huge thanks to all my collaborators and especially in this case, Liquid Bloom, Serpentis, Māh Ze Tār & the Desert Trax team and (whoever put that remix on a massive editorial playlist!) and to everyone who listens to these tunes!

I've been grinding my b***y off and releasing songs almost every week since January!! And STILL have 3 exciting ones coming out super soon: Kalya Scintilla Remix with Liquid Bloom, Bass Ritual Recode by Light Language, a remix of Ascension by Deva Runa made with Chakaruna and vocals from Ruby Chase, and to top that all off, a Dirtwire remix (two actually) to be released!
Note: I even though I strongly disagree with the Spotify CEO's ethics, Spotify is still the biggest platform for musicians to be heard. Numbers definitely aren't everything, but there is an aspect of it that reflects how many people the music has reached. I truly wish there was someone with better morals running the platform.

However, I am truly grateful to see my music project grow and to be able to track it in this way.

This is the title track of my next upcoming album (following the theme of my first album Ecstatic Ecosystems).

⛰️ Born from the Mountain Sound music producer summer camp (which you can learn about here https://www.boredomfighters.org/mountainsound 🏕️) during Underbelly's masterclasses, where we first created a full song structure with only the beat, and then added expressive chords.

This turned out to be one of my most unique sonic creations so far!

Downloading this song here on bandcamp, in a way, is a direct protest to the unethical practices of Spotify. One download supports me as an artist as much as around 300 streams & it gets us back into the practice of collecting music and supporting artists rather than leaving it up to the streaming services to funnel our funds into a robot war machine. ��
