What is "Functional Fitness"? Such a hot phrase with so few succinct definitions. Our approach to functional training is composed of three simple ideas.
Optimize Biomechanics (Move Safely) ➡️ Practice Movement Patterns (Move Realistically) ➡️ Variable Programming (Move Differently)

Back from the honeymoon and back to basics! Your spine is the base of your musculoskeletal system. It is like the chassis in your car, acting as a stable structure through which force can be channeled from your hips and shoulders. Now, you wouldn't want your chassis to be bent, right? Well you don't want that for your spine either! Your spine is happy in a neutral position. Too much flexion or extension is one of the leading causes of lower back pain. Save your spine by keeping it aligned!
