I wish I would’ve taken more REST DAYS…
After 13 years of Tricking, I’ve learned that your training is only as good as what you can recover from… and take it from an athlete who is the king of overtraining… it’s NOT worth it 😂👑…
I could have avoided both surgeries, countless setbacks, and so much time spent forced to rest… and instead had the privilege to just choose to take a rest day.
So practice listening to your body, take extra rest days if you need, and I guarantee you’ll end up thanking yourself later 🤝.
REST UP AND KEEP PUSHING FORWARD 🙌❤️

What made you fall in love with Tricking? 🤔
I love Tricking because it’s SO FUN!
A lot of people seemed to resonate with my Instagram story of this combo yesterday.. so I figured I’d just share it to my main page 🤷♂️…
The opportunity the express myself and play is what makes Tricking so fun and this session was a great reminder of that. It’s also fun to progress and do difficult tricks, but I always come back to loving the movement at its core. Wether it’s a weird front hand spring combo or a triple cork, I believe what gives the movement meaning is what you take away from it…
I left this session with so much joy. Shoutout to tryhardcollective for joining me! Love grass sessions with you brotha 💚.

May Recap ⏮️
Got the ankle back to 100% this month and had a great time doing it! Been trying to strike the balance between training, work, studying, and life. I’d be lying if I said it’s been easy, but it’s been manageable, and I’m beyond grateful 🙏.
Excited to be back to crushing tricks on the spring floor again, spending quality time with friends and family, and especially for delicious homemade meals haha. The little things in life really do make it worth living and I’m enjoying the journey so much…
Thank you all for following along and as always…
KEEP PUSHING ❤️
Just start posting the content…

Sharing my journey on social media changed my life forever and I’m grateful for each and every single one of you that has decided to follow along ❤️
I’ve missed skateboarding more than I thought… 🛹
In 2021, I had surgery on my foot and decided I wanted to focus solely on Tricking after my recovery… and part of that decision was to stop skateboarding altogether.
I thought about hopping on my board from time to time, but after a second surgery in 2024 (on my ankle) I really thought my days of skateboarding were over…
So happy to say that I’m confident enough in my body to skate again and this time I’m not focused on any sort of progress. I’ve realized that regardless of what skill level I’m at… skateboarding brings me an incredible amount of joy.
I used to have this all or nothing mentality towards every hobby/skill that I practiced. Always looking to improve and that’s what made these things fun. Now I think it’s important to have hobbies that aren’t about progress, but are just about enjoying the practice itself…
Skateboarding reminds me to just have fun… and ultimately I think finding that joy is what life is all about.

I’m all good btw 👍😂
Injury prevention is one of the main reasons I’ve doubled down on strength training as a Tricking athlete. This could have been a much worse and luckily I came out of this one unscathed! 🙏
This was a miscalculation on my part, but if you train for the unexpected, you can seriously reduce your risk of injury. 📉
Highly recommend strength training (lifting weights/resistance training and mobility training) for all the Trickers out there! 🙌
