I had a total blast at the Small Press Fest in FoCo today! ๐
There are few things more inspiring to me than creatives and makers coming together, building instant community, and supporting one another's unique expressions.
Being around books has always felt like an instant portal, bringing me closest to my inner child who always knew imagination was a powerful gateway to infinite realms.
We're all born creators. Whether through manifestation, music, writing, drawing, singing, movement, sport, or something unique to your "you-ness," I urge you: don't let life pass you by without exploring it.
The world is ready for you and your art. โค๏ธ
There's so much joy here and much more in the queue, stay tuned for some big happenings ๐.
Yay for showing up, celebrating creation, and meeting digital friends in the wild! Kaitlin Lavinder Saltmine Books โจ

Tickled that one of my sweet lil poems found its way into the cutest zine made lovingly by Fireside Ink Writers Workshop ๐ฅน.
I originally wrote this poem a few years ago and rewrote it again for this submission recently.
This iteration more accurately reflects my present and future role of land-keeper since landing in my dream home with my dream,
Rewriting and alchemizing past poems into present moments is the most sacred way to integrate, dialogue with, and dance alongside past versions of self. ๐ซ
Though just a lil ditty, every poem of mine, every thought form, every creation always takes me to a potent moment in time. ๐
Creation IS healing. ๐๐ผ
It's perfect timing to see this in print as I prepare for next weekend's "Writing in the Wild" event at Chautauqua in Boulder, 2-4pm. ๐
I was out there exploring today and it's nothing short of iconic. Nature + writing + community = medicine. ๐ณ
Your modality doesn't have to be poetry, but here's just a little token of what nature can spark in you.
Ready to feel inspired in this sacred land we get to call home? โฐ๏ธ

We're back! Who's ready to write in the wild? ๐ณ
Saturday, October 10, join us for a class on co-creating with forces beyond us. As fall quickly rolls in, it's easy to connect to spooky season and cozy weather, but there are also elemental, medicinal frequencies here to support us. ๐
Fall signifies letting things fall away to nurture new growth. It invites a softening, an internal deepening, change and transition, and ultimately, slowing down.
In this course, we will tune into how the outer world reflects our inner world and vice versa. You are the medicine and you're also surrounded by it. โจ
And, to top it off, we will be in one of the most beloved, potent places in Boulder, Chautauqua Park. โก๏ธ
Do not miss this! Registration closes October 8. All genres and all levels welcome. Link in bio. ๐
See you soon! ๐งก

What an incredible night spent in community and in celebration of Claire Ibarra launching her new book, "Alteration," into the world at the Bus Stop Gallery. ๐ฉต
And what an honor it was to be a community reader, sharing my poems, "natal chart," "hypnotized once in wyndham," "Hands," and "Yogic Edge." ๐คฒ๐ป
I'm so grateful for the heartfelt response, the open dialogue, and the avenues of healing that community co-creates in safe spaces. โจ
This was magic. May we all be so bold as to keep saying "yes" to what we long to share with the world in our short time here.
It matters. โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
Thank you for having me, Claire! And thanks for launching your work into the world; it makes way for the rest of us to do the same. What a gift. ๐๐ผ

If you've been around this corner of the web for a while, you likely know that I'm a huge advocate of duality.
But I haven't always been.
I learned the hard way that the shadow side of life, the subconscious mind, is dominant without the right tools to use it.
And that even saying yes to the good stuff of life โ love, connection, opportunity โ can present equal and opposite resistance.
Example:
๐ฐHave you ever said yes to a new well-paying job only to be met with paralyzing self-doubt, stress, or uncertainty?
๐ฅHow about saying yes to a nourishing meal, only for it to trigger rigid thought patterns of "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts?"
๐How about yes to a healthy relationship, only to meet attachment wounds and trauma patterns?
Welcome to duality. โซ๏ธโช๏ธ
Just because we want or attract seemingly positive things, doesn't mean we're physically prepared to fully embrace them.
The good news is: triggers *always* present greater opportunity for healing. โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
The more resistance we move through, the more capacity we build to embody the yeses, not just attract them.
Your yes also reveals your no โ alongside whatever stagnancy is ready to shift.
So if you've ever felt confused around this complexity, wondered why "bad" follows "good," whether there are repercussions to experiencing joy, or you find yourself waiting for the other shoe to drop in life, there's wisdom in that and reason for it.
You're healing. But it's time to go deeper.
For more support in cultivating this relationship between your conscious (choosing) mind and the protective (subconscious) mind, I got you. ๐ง
Align them both for your optimal way of being. ๐๐ผ

It's true. And believe me, while holding someone in their highest light, their highest potential sounds nice, I've also had my qualms with this one.
So let's break it down.
In a critical moment, most of us just want to be seen, heard, and met right where we are. Validated and justified in our feelings, not told "it gets better."
This, alone, hits a deep pattern dating back to childhood, past lives, and/or generational wounding of *NOT* feeling this way. So positive words, while well-intended, may feel irrelevant or invalidating.
Embodying a higher frequency, however, โ of love, of remembrance โ alongside someone's suffering actually helps us remember who we truly are.
It helps us feel it beyond words. This redirects the energy in motion back to our baseline โ balance.
Not with words, but with energy. Through infinite wisdom. That we are meant for more. That we are here to feel better than where we've come from.
A family member of mine always said, "I'll hold this for you until you can hold it for yourself." And I fought it and fought it, until I fully understood.
When you worry about someone, you do their soul a disservice. When you trust their journey and remind them of their nature โ to be well โ they can calibrate accordingly. Sometimes instantly.
So next time you receive what seems like hard or bad news, play with the energy of embodying love, trust, surrender. See how your strength of knowing serves yourself and your loved ones.
For support deepening your resilience with Life, Self, and Health, I got you.

MAKE WAY FOR EMOTIONS ๐
Emotions are energy. They have to move.
The question is: Do you let them?
When emotions aren't given the proper time or space, every task, every "to-do" gets harder.
This is a breeding ground for imbalance and dis-ease.
Overwhelm, tenderness, sadness...they're all gifts. They re-prioritize what's important.
Tasks fall to bottom of the list, creating space rises to the top.
Give yourself permission to operate slower. Redefine what has to "get done" and let your emotional wellness be your guide.
This society doesn't prioritize enotional wellness, but when you make you a priority, life only gets better.
Subconscious programs are always running. How are you tending to them?
How are you showing your nervous system it doesn't have to stress anymore?
How are you increasing your capacity to feel, and therefore, heal?

I went to the woods today to scope out our sacred gathering space for next Friday's "Writing in the Wild" workshop and was instantly and humbly met with a mirror of my life.๐ช
Landing on a new trail, and also navigating a grand (dream) home transition, I noticed my nervous system work to acclimate to all of this newness. The newness of this nature path mirrored the trajectory of my new home life as well. Macro reflecting micro and vice versa.
So I walked. Meandered. Witnessed the discomfort of spending time in the Great Unknown.
And don't get me wrong โ every moment was fricken beautiful. Life. . . is beautiful.
Still, I watched tendency to follow the beaten path. Met conditioned programs. Nervous system patterns.
Any form of navigating โ through emotional landscapes, nature landscapes, relationships, career paths โ all hold a divine process.
Some people go to the woods to find themselves. And in that exploration, they may feel more lost. That, too, is part of it.
There is so much wisdom here, from nature, from life's eternal magic and mystery โ awaiting us. So let's explore that dialogue more directly. Through poetic and inspired inquiry.
Come join Fireside Ink Writers Workshop and me on Friday, July 17th at 1-3pm MT for a sweet exploration of place, connecting our inner and outer worlds, nervous system regulation, grounding, and poetic expression, of course! ๐
All levels welcome. Link in bio. Doors close July 16!
