Ospreys are back for the season!

Osprey photos + other things that caught my eye on a sunset walk tonight

I went on a long solo hike yesterday and challenged myself to take lots of photos of anything I found interesting. I spent a lot of time sitting on rocks and looking at the water’s texture.

Couple days in one of my favorite places to visit the beach, look for birds, go seal watching, and watch the sunset

Sky Pond in the winter ✅❄️

This is one of my favorite summer hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, and I’ve been wanting to do it in the winter for years.

Doing it in the winter is different though. There’s less daylight, you have to be prepared for extreme wind and temps, and we rented ice axes and crampons to get over the frozen waterfall. I tried this trail in the winter a few years ago and we didn’t make it.

But we made it this time! Thanks for the adventure 💙

A month in Aruba and Peru!

What a trip. We started by photographing a wedding in Aruba, spent a week in the Amazon rainforest, and then ended by hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

It was amazing, really hard at times, but overall incredible.

Thanks to my wonderful friend for being such a great travel partner through it all ❤️
