On the day of the shoot Megan went to her home group meeting to celebrate her 4 year sober birthday before meeting up with Brooke Michiels of Full Potential Wilderness for her photo session. Megan choose Pearl Street in Boulder because this was the last place she used. These images truly encapsulate the beauty and power of recovery! We are delighted to be a small part of this monumental day!

Captured at 12:15am with friends that say, “Hell yeah!” to playing in the dark on a mountain in the middle of the night with our cameras! This shot is one of my favorites. I haven’t been getting in any of my astrophotography images until this weekend - and I love how small I look against the galactic center of our galaxy! This really does make my problems seem small.
