On Saturday, August 8, BioLife team members participated in the 13th Annual Fred Hutch Obliteride 5K bike ride and walk/run. This is our third year joining in and sponsoring this event to fundraise for cancer research, treatments, and prevention programs at Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle, WA. 🔬

BioLife had the pleasure of hosting the Emily Whitehead Foundation (EWF) earlier this summer at our Bothell, WA headquarters for a day of celebration, education, and inspiration in the work we do every day.
✂️ On June 24, we celebrated our new Aby J. Mathew Center for Biopreservation Excellence (“The Center”) with a ribbon cutting ceremony, a tour of the facility, and a presentation about the optimized services being offered.
🌟 After the ceremony, we were honored to host the EWF patient-advocates, Betsy and Beaudin “Beau” Larrabee, where they shared their family’s journey with CAR-T cell therapy. BioLife teams in Bothell and Indianapolis, IN then assembled and delivered EWF ‘Believe Bundles’ to nearby local hospitals.
🤞 In a new blog post, we share highlights of the day, pictures, and details about the Larrabee’s talk that stood out and left a lasting impression on us. We are inspired all over again to “Preserve the Promise” of cell and gene therapies that can deliver hope and new beginnings to patients all over the world.
