A landscape photographer who loves the great outdoors. I also dabble in macro, wildlife, and portrait photography. Tons of different styles and mediums there.

Visit my site at mapsedgephotography.com to see a full catalog and place orders! Started out as just a fun hobby in high school. Have also always loved camping and the out doors. Over the years the hobbies grew and complimented each other. Self taught (unless you count one viscom class in high school). Continuing to grow and super excited to see where things end up. More scenes from the desert.

Sometimes you just gotta go out and comb the desert. Results of spending a whole day just exploring slot canyons

Another reedit of some old work. Crazy to see the changes.

Probably one of the most iconic views in the US and it did not disappoint.

Half Dome catching some sun. What an amazing place this is. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you to the park volunteer who shared this spot with me.

Was looking for a spot like this our entire trip. Had a few get close but still none were quite what I wanted. Then at lunch a volunteer for the park sat at our table and we all got to chatting. She saw my camera and we both started talking about photography and she mentioned a spot no far from where we were eating. Well...I found found the spot and boy did it deliver.

Never forget to take the time to connect with others. Never forget to take a moment with locals who know and love the area you are visiting. You never know where it may take you. We sadly never got their name but still have to thank her for her time, conversation, and knowledge. It was greatly appreciated.

Can we get back to spring please?

Well hello again everyone. So this is kind of a silver lining post. Photography is sadly not the full time gig for me so a real full time gig was what puts food on the table. I say was because 2 weeks ago I was laid of with thousands of others with 0 notice on our part. But as I said this is a silver lining. Instead of looking at the stress and uncertainty it causes, I am looking and the good it brings. More time at home with my lovely wife and dog. Ability to take care of things at home and take time to find where I really want to go next in my career. But most importantly get behind and camera and laptop again on continue to share some of the shots I have yet to share with you all. Like this one. We traveled to epic Yosemite this summer and was everything we hoped. There sadly were fires in the area hence the haze but certainly did not lose any of its wonder.

So while it's definitely not the best reason to reinvigorate a passion, sometimes you just need to be forced into this again and I cant wait to share more of the places we have gone

Jan. 2014...I watched the greatest games i have ever seen in personn that put my team in the Super Bowl. I still hold that moment in my office every day. Tonight my team did the exact same thing and I could not be prouder of them. We were written off, left for dead, questioned at every turn...pedestrian in 2013/14, flawed in 2025/26. Where you at now doubters? Go Hawks!

I've been a bit busy watching this little one grow up for the past months. Our now 8 month old puppy has taken up a lot of time and effort (as well as a couple of socks), but we have loved every moment of it. Me and my wife are so in love with our baby girl Juno and are so excited for the adventures we are going to go on together.
