Royal Robotics has made it to Houston!

Royal Robotics is excited to announce that we will be competing at the FIRST Robotics World Championship.

The Royal Robotics team has put in a tremendous effort this year and we would like to thank those that made it possible for us to compete.

Royal Robotics will be hosting a food drive starting this week until March 31st at the North End Practice Field. We are partnering with the Lynwood Food Bank to help make this happen, and would love if teams could bring a couple of items with them when they come in for practice. A list of the most requested items can be found on the attached flyer, or on the North End Practice Field website. Our goal is to collect 2,025 items across the course of the drive. The ACT Training on February 1st at 1-2pm is cancelled due to unfortunate weather.

Fill out the ACT training interest form in our bio by January 25th to participate!

We are thrilled to say that Royal Robotics has received our Edmonds School District Foundation grant in full to partially cover FIRST LEGO League (FLL) expenses from the 2024-2025 season. We express our gratitude to the Foundation for providing us with this opportunity to continue our outreach efforts without compromising other aspects of our team.

All six of our FLL teams will be competing at our in-district pre-season competition at Former Alderwood Middle School, the current temporary location of Oak Heights Elementary, on December 7th, from 10:00 to 3:00. Spectators are welcomed, and doors will open at 10. The morning will consist of practice and judging of the team’s research project, and official matches will start at one o’clock. We are looking for a couple additional volunteers; please message [email protected] if this is something you would be interested in. The Oak Heights, Alderwood Middle, and winning Westgate team will then continue onto the regional competition at Ballard High School on December 14th.
