Skagit Tulips May 5th this year. Last of the late bloomers. Ominous skies as thunderstorm approached. Started raining hard about an hour later, just as I was leaving.

Is the whole always equal to the sum of its parts? When it comes to art, geometry axioms may not apply. In this case there is greater detail in the parts, but in terms of composition...what do you think? Which do you like best?

Fall time at Multnomah

One of my favorites from last summer.

Skykomish River and Mt Index. Taken mid December. River level is very low.

The Nooksack River is a good example of a WA rainforest river.

Taken at Washington Pass, North Cascades Highway. After dense cloud cover and rain during the morning hours, the clouds lifted and revealed a fresh dusting of snow. Very crisp, clear and clean.
