Aylar! We can’t be more proud of her!

While at Cascadia, Aylar has held various jobs on campus and was involved in an abundance of community services. She was recognized for her excellence as a recipient of the All Washington Academic Team award. After earning an Associate of Science degree from Cascadia, Alylar joined the University of Kansas with a full tuition scholarship. During that time, she was selected to receive the Student Employee of the Year Award both from the University of Kansas and also from the State of Kansas. Aylar graduated with four Bachelor’s degrees in Global and International Studies, Microbiology, Political Science, Slavic Languages and Literature with minors in German Studies and Psychology. Now she’s off to begin a new journey as a Doctoral student at Vanderbilt University. Congratulations to our “Dr. Aylar” in the making! 💙🥳🐻💙🥳🐻

“Big news - I’m going back to school! I will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Biology and Biomedical Sciences at Vanderbilt this fall. I loved meeting everyone in Nashville, and the labs, research, and student support at Vandy were unmatched. I’m excited to start this journey - it still feels surreal! Cole and I are excited to call Nashville our home for the next 5 (4? 6?) years.”

We are so proud to learn about Ruth’s momentous accomplishments! After earning an Associate’s degree in Business DTA at Cascadia (GPA: 3.970), Ruth joined Foster School of Business at University of Washington- Seattle. Ruth has the greatest voice and we’ve continued to witness her music performance in social media over the years. We are thrilled to see that she is able to combine her passion in music with her profession in business at graduate school in New York University. Ruth is a real role model and inspiration to her peers.

Ruth, you are a star in the making! Congratulations and shine on!✨✨✨

“This week, I wrapped up my studies at NYU and received my Master in Music Business Degree with recognition of Academic Achievement as the top GPA achiever in the program. Next month, I am wrapping up my internship at Sony Music Publishing, where I have been interning since June 2023 as a Music Strategy intern. It has been a fun New York City journey, and I am excited about what’s to come.

I believe great things take time. I patiently wait for what comes next!”
