Located in downtown Bothell, WA, the Bothell Historical Museum includes three buildings from the late-1800s. Come explore Bothell’s rich local history!

Operated by the Bothell Historical Society, the museum is open Sundays, April-October, from 1-4 PM. The museum is open Sundays from 1 to 4 pm, April through October. During the Covid-19 pandemic, museum volunteers maintained a year-round historical window displays, viewable by park visitors from outside the Hannan House. It was so popular that we plan to continue it but on a smaller scale.

We have exciting news to share! The Bothell Historical Society and Museum has recently hired our first director. We are thrilled to have Kenneth on our team. We would like to introduce him in his own words,
"My name is Kenneth Doutt and I am thrilled to be the new Director of the Bothell Historical Museum! Growing up in Massachusetts, I developed a deep love of lighthouses and tall ships which drew me into the world of museums at an early age. My career has spanned working as an archeologist for the State of Maryland, a Ranger for the National Park Service at Tule Lake National Monument and Manzaznar National Historic Site, and most recently the Director of the Shoreline Historical Museum. I am passionate about community-led design through anti-racist practices and am eager to be a part of connecting people to local history. When I am not at the museum you can find me playing ukulele, juggling (sometimes ukuleles), and looking for meaningful connections wherever I go!"
