Juneteenth – Freedom Day

Today, we honor Juneteenth, the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were informed of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

It is a day of reflection, resilience, and recognition of the continued pursuit of equity and justice.

In observance of Juneteenth, our office is CLOSED today. We will resume regular business hours on Monday.

Just a reminded that our Salud to Summer event is coming up quick and we can't wait to see everyone there.

Admission price is $25 per person (21+ for wine tasting - includes 2 drink tickets and light appetizers). Under 21 and non-wine tasting guests receive free admission!

We hope that everyone has had a safe weekend. In observance of Memorial Day, our office is closed today, but we will reopen tomorrow during regular business hours.

We are thrilled to share that Alpha Supported Living Services has been awarded a $75,000 grant from Kuni Foundation ( )!

This generous investment will support the development of Alpha’s new centralized office space in Kirkland — strengthening collaboration across teams, improving operational efficiency, and helping us better serve individuals with developmental disabilities throughout our communities. We anticipate that we will be moved into our new space this Fall.

As Alpha continues to grow, this new space will create opportunities for connection, innovation, staff support, and expanded services that directly impact the lives of the people we support every day.

We are deeply grateful to the Kuni Foundation for believing in our mission and investing in a more inclusive future.
