Another HUGE loss to the music industry…to say Steve Cropper is/was the king of R&B guitar is an understatement. There is so many far reaching layers to the man…a sound and style that is still very much alive today as it was back when Booker T & The MGs started making records. Definitely one of popular music’s timeless architects. RIP Steve Cropper…thanks for the roadmap to perfect guitar tone and rhythmic style beyond measure…and of course all those amazing hit records that became the timeline for many musicians young and old 💔🎸🎶🙏

Perspective is everything. These past few days here in the great Pacific Northwest have been absolutlely gorgeous early Fall/October weather.
The weather switch is definitely upon us 🙄 What a nice reprieve before the switch 🥰👍

Just want to extend a massive HEARTFELT THANKS 🙏❤️ to each of you for all the amazing birthday salutations…birthday messages…birthday posts you so graciously ensconced toward me this past week!! Your g-man’s heart is full 🙏❤️
Much of the time there will always be something to celebrate in life as well as much to grieve about at times within the mix. Life is never dull. Sometimes however, very challenging, or very different than anticipated. Yet, often full of magnificent surprises that turn out better than we expected. Life is truly a gift beyond measure no matter the length or longevity.
What I do know is that I Love you n pray daily you experience tenfold the Love n positivity you’ve so graciously bestowed upon me this past week.
Again, thank you beyond measure!! May Love n peace always find its place securely within you thru the ups n downs of this journey ❤️✌️

Let them grow old with the same love that they let you grow ... let them speak and tell repeated stories with the same patience and interest that they heard yours as a child ... let them overcome, like so many times when they let you win ... let them enjoy their friends just as they let you … let them enjoy the talks with their grandchildren, because they see you in them ... let them enjoy living among the objects that have accompanied them for a long time, because they suffer when they feel that you tear pieces of this life away ... let them be wrong, like so many times you have been wrong and they didn’t embarrass you by correcting you ...
LET THEM LIVE and try to make them happy the last stretch of the path they have left to go; give them your hand, just like they gave you their hand when you started your path!
