Hello from the Fosters!

Just popping in to say hi, and thanks for following even when I haven’t been posting as often here.

I’m going to be changing the focus of this account. Yes, it will still have yarn and fiber art posts. But I will also be posting about sourdough baking, gardening, urban homesteading, and adventures around the PNW.

What else would you like to see me post about?

Yesterday I took on the huge task of reorganizing my yarn stash. I started in December of 2022, but never finished it. Then I found the X organizer in the “as is” section at IKEA and it kick started my desire to get this project done.

So now I have moved most of my yarn goodness into the bedroom, and only project bags and books are in the living room.

I filled a bag with yarn to get rid of at the next Crafternoon meeting 👏

Bonus, I frogged a few projects that I want to rework in the near future.

Day one of is complete!

I’m in a small apartment so having all my yarn, books, etc. in one area would mean no walking around it for the next two weeks. So I’ll keep everything in these two areas, living room & bedroom, for now. I’ll do each day’s task in each area or combine if I can.

Merry Christmas! Thankful for the birth of Jesus to give us hope for the future.

Anyone else love heel turns as much as me?

I made it with bulky yarn so it’s cozy, and kept my ears warm on our walk after work. It’s a great introduction to Tunisian crochet, and it works up fast. This would be a great gift or stocking stuffer! You can find the pattern on Toni’s blog or watch the tutorial on her YouTube channel.
