Eighteen years ago, I met this gorgeous mama-to-be in our college dorm. We’ve been friends ever since and I couldn’t be more excited for her to jump on the Motherhood train - she’s loved on my kids for 9 years now and I have no doubt, she’ll be the best! 💕

How it started —> swipe to see how it ended! Toddlers are my toughest crowd (just in front of Dads 😜) but I always win them over. Sometimes, you just need a little extra time and a bag of m&ms. 😍

It’s senior season! Fun fact: I have SEVEN brothers so senior boys are a blast for me to photograph. Once you break through their shell, we have a fun, easy and FAST session!

These two nailed their first look - they filled the upstairs deck with endless smiles and so much love! ❤️

If you decide to hire me for your family photos and I text you from a gas station about an open lot across the street that would make gorgeous Fall photos, just trust me. ;) I'm so thankful that Jillian was up for it because this is one incredible hidden gem of a location - coupled with a gorgeous, perfectly photogenic family!

🧑‍🌾 Life update! It’s been awhile, like two years, since I’ve been on this account. I thought I’d start with a fun recap of my disappearance. At the height of the pandemic, we realized what we wanted was more freedom - to explore, play, learn and grow as a family. We wanted more space for a garden, to raise animals 🦆 🐥 and get dirty! So, we sold our house, gave away most of our furniture, rented a storage unit, bought an RV and then purchased …. DIRT! Five acres about 15 minutes outside of Olympia in the cutest little rural community. We drove out once and knew that was where we wanted to move. We’ve spent the last year getting the land prepped, including a well, power and internet as well as leveling and grading two acres for our future homestead. It’s been a WILD journey with insane setbacks but we keep moving forward. We upgraded to a new RV and are adjusting to life with less stuff and more happiness. I’m excited to dive back into photography now that we’re more settled. If you’re in the greater Olympia area, I’m here!

Ellie Rose arrived last January and after planning to take a few months off, a few turned into nine and here we are! Friends warned me that three was a whole new ball game and they weren’t kidding! We are settling in now and looking forward to any easy(er) next nine months.

*Update* My calendar is officially closed until Spring! Baby girl is due to arrive late January and while I was warned, baby #3 apparently always means business. I'll be taking the rest of Fall and Winter easy, relaxing at home and soaking up our time as a family of four with "big kids".

It was an incredible Fall filled with so many of my favorite families and new ones too! Thank you to all of you for being the best! :) Stay tuned for baby updates after the new year!

Over the last couple of weeks, I've met two awesome mamas IN PERSON that I had previously only known through Facebook photography groups. Such a fun experience meeting them and their wonderful families!
