Anterior pelvic tilt is often discussed as something that needs to be “fixed” - but posture is usually more complex than that.
A pelvic tilt is not a permanent position or diagnosis. It can be influenced by movement habits, muscle activity, mobility restrictions, pain, and the positions we spend the most time in. Rather than focusing on achieving “perfect” posture, the goal is helping the body move comfortably through a variety of positions with strength, mobility, and control.
Regular movement, position changes throughout the day, and strength-based exercise can all help support long-term function and resilience.
If you’re experiencing pain, stiffness, or movement limitations, a PT or OT can help identify what may be contributing and create a plan tailored to your body.

If strengthening has ever made your pelvic pain worse, it doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It might mean your body needs a different approach.
During pregnancy, your system is already working overtime to adapt. Jumping straight into bigger movements or higher effort can sometimes add more load than your body is ready to manage.
That’s where isometrics come in. They create stability without requiring movement - giving your muscles a way to reconnect, coordinate, and support you without aggravating symptoms. It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing what your body can actually receive right now.
Want guidance on where to start (and what to avoid)? We’re here to help. Reach out to book a session.

If you’ve tried a pregnancy support belt and thought, “This isn’t helping”... you’re not alone.
Support in pregnancy isn’t one-size-fits-all. The type, placement, and timing all matter and the wrong setup can feel bulky, uncomfortable, or just ineffective.
When we look a little deeper, it’s not just about adding support, it’s about where your body needs it most and how it’s currently managing load. That’s why we take an individualized approach, combining external support with how your body moves and adapts. Relief often comes from the right combination - not just one tool.
Not sure what kind of support would actually help? Let’s figure it out together. Reach out to book a session.

A lot of people are told pelvic pain in pregnancy is just part of the process.
But when we slow down and listen, pain is usually giving us useful information - not something to dismiss.
It can point to imbalance, overload, or a need for more coordinated support across your system. And when we understand why it’s happening, we can actually do something about it.
If something feels off, let’s explore it together. Reach out to get started.
