We remain steadfast in our commitment to equity and inclusion, and are deeply grateful to the leaders in our network and beyond who are dismantling barriers and building a more just future for all, day in and day out.

Join our friends at Nonprofit GPS for a practical webinar unpacking nonprofit mergers: “If a Nonprofit Merger is the Answer, What is the Question?” on Thursday, June 18th from 2pm–3:30pm ET.
Mergers are just one among many relationships that can be explored while investigating solutions for a business model that may no longer be working. However, because the language of mergers often looms large in public forums, conversations with funders and at the board level can tend to revert to this one solution amongst many available options. In this session, you’ll explore:
✔️ Research on the costs and benefits of nonprofit mergers
✔️ Key elements for successful completion
✔️ Alternative options in cases where a merger was initially considered, but ultimately determined to not be the optimal course of action
Nonprofit GPS draws on the grounded experience of Nonprofit Financial Commons and BDO’s Nonprofit and Grantmaker Advisory practice, as well as the tools provided at StrongNonprofits.org, along with resources from many other collaborating networks and individuals. Don’t miss next week’s conversation! https://bit.ly/4e3pNng
