Join legendary photographer Henry Horenstein Photography at McCarthy's Toad Upstairs on Monday, March 16 to celebrate the 20th anniversary edition of his classic book H***y Tonk: Portraits of Country Music and the release of his newest book, Miles and Miles of Texas. Henry, who began his career shooting album covers for Rounder Records in the 1970s, is now a celebrated professor of photography at RISD. He will give an interactive presentation showcasing his unique portraiture followed by a book signing. This special event will also feature live music from the Talking Hearts, Boston’s own pioneers of contemporary h***y tonk, in a rare acoustic trio setting.
