Meet the 3 incredible runners to support CHV in the Falmouth Road Race in TWO WEEKS!

Dante DeMarino has a special personal connection to CHV. He spent his summers working on the Provincetown II, the ferry that takes our campers out to the island everyday in the summer! About running for CHV he says "Supporting an organization that is committed to putting children first and creating lasting, positive experiences for them means a great deal to me. Running Falmouth is an opportunity to challenge myself while giving back to an organization I’ve felt connected to for much of my life, and I’m proud to be part of the team."

For Ava Haritos, running the Falmouth Road Race has always been on her bucket list. Ava is running to support CHV because "I think the work they are doing is incredibly important for our community and the city of Boston. To have that support and network as they enter into early adulthood will be something that shapes them for the rest of their lives and it’s something every child deserves to have access to."

Patrick Duffey is a MA-native and has been hearing about Falmouth Road Race since he was a kid, so he can't wait to run for CHV. "When the opportunity came up to run with CHV, I knew that this would be a great way to get involved and contribute towards a virtuous mission."

Thank you Dante, Ava, and Patrick! You can cheer them on by attending the race on August 16 or by supporting their fundraisers πŸƒβœ¨β†’ https://hubs.ly/Q04r8yY50

Shout out to Paul Willis Is Hip Hop for leading a week of Hip Hop Leadership workshops for our LITs! πŸ™Œ

Paul's curriculum harnesses the transformative power of Hip Hop culture as a framework for leadership, empowerment, and community building. The workshops supported our LITs as they explored how they see themselves as artists and leaders by making their own beats!

Thank you so much for spending the week with us, Paul!
