An absolute honor to be this year’s University of Michigan Plastic Surgery Reed O. Dingman Memorial Lecturer! Many, many thanks for the kind invitation and to visit Ann Arbor, attend the research symposium, and spend time. Wonderful resident research presentations and the future of plastic surgery is bright! It was amazing catching up with long time friends and colleagues.
As noted by U of M, the Reed O. Dingman Lectureship was established in 1986 through a gift from Mrs. Thelma Dingman in memory of her husband. The purpose of the lectureship is to invite plastic and reconstructive surgeons of national or international reputation to lecture at the University of Michigan on topics contributing to the art and science of plastic and reconstructive surgery. The visit was perfect!
