Now in its 14th year, Emmanuel's Artist-in-Residence program provides artists with dedicated time and space to create new work while engaging with our campus community.

Remembering an icon of Boston: Back Bay statue to honor Jack Connors - The Boston Globe A new statue of civic leader Jack Connors was unveiled in Back Bay on Tuesday.

Congratulations to the 2026 recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award: Kateri Bennett Walsh '67, Maggie Marseille '05, and Michél Legendre '14. Isis Ortiz-Belton '09 is not pictured.

They were honored for their meaningful contributions to their communities, workplaces, or places of worship and for exemplifying the values instilled in them at Emmanuel.

Maggie has built a career centered on helping people thrive—strengthening organizations, mentoring others, and creating pathways for success. Through leadership in higher education, nonprofit service, and community advocacy, she continues to embody Emmanuel’s mission in action.
