The Activ8r Adventures continue with PRESSURE, a new HiLo book that is perfect for adult literacy programs. 🤖

Lucy discovers people are using personal devices to control the weather, making clouds and changing rain to sun. These small variations are adding up. A killer storm is approaching, and Lucy must unite with her friends to save her city from technology gone wrong. ⚡
PRESSURE follows VELOCITY in The Activ8r Adventures, where AI enhancements to human beings give them amazing powers…but at what cost?

Investing in adult literacy benefits far more than the individual learner. 📈
When adults strengthen their literacy skills, the impact reaches everyone, through higher earnings, greater workplace productivity, and reduced reliance on government assistance.
Communities grow stronger when their members have access to opportunity. 🌱💪
That's the power of literacy. ✨

On April 11, hundreds of people gathered at the Boston Public Library to remember the life and work of our dear friend and author, Charles Coe.
Speakers, including 3-time US Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky and Poet Laureates of Somerville, Boston, and Massachusetts, recalled his words and his tremendous impact on the city of Boston and the Commonwealth.
How incredibly lucky we are that Charles turned his attention from poetry long enough to give us SPIN CYCLES. We miss the man, the talent, the generosity, the voice…and that goofy sense of humor that made us smile. Charles is deeply missed, but his legacy is secure.
We invite you to read more about Charles and watch Robert Mighty’s award-winning short film, which captures Charles’ literary journey at the links in the comments.
