20 years ago this month The Wrap became Boloco. The last sign from Newbury Street still looking pretty tasty.

Digital gift cards (in your phone) are convenient, but there was something special about the early gift card days when people would proudly whip out their choice of New England-based artwork while receiving some of the greatest perks in burrito business history 🌆

The VIP Cards weren’t bad either… no data, just a quick flash, trust, loyalty and smiles.

GoodVibes*, SuperVibes and UberVibes**… you know who you are… Can you name some of these??

* Vibe = Very Important Burrito Eater
** UberVibe = the elite of the elite, only 500 people ever achieved this status which predated Uber by about 5 years

This is our worst performing promotion EVER. Literally 25 people have gotten their free chocolate chip cookie today. Did the whole world stop eating these impossibly delicious cookies on the exact same day?!

PS. To those who thought we were complaining here, we weren’t. This is just our questionable self-deprecating sense of humor that misses as often as the presenters at Brady’s Netflix Roast 🤪
