Over the weekend, the Melhem Foundation held secure calls with partners in Lebanon and leadership discussions with Vice President Mrs. Jana Warde to review the evolving situation on the ground and the urgent humanitarian needs facing many communities.

We also recognize Interim Associate Chris Armache for proposing the initiative that helped accelerate this response.

Following the leadership meeting, Mrs. Jana Warde authorized the immediate coverage of bread and a source of nutritious protein for over 200 families in collaboration with our trusted partner, Al Tawarek Foundation, for the coming month. Aid distribution is expected to begin this week.

This initiative has been funded by the Melhem Scientific Charitable Fund.

The Melhem Foundation had the pleasure of President Melhem spending his Saturday morning with our valued partners at Al Tawarek Foundation in Mina, Tripoli 🇱🇧

A partnership we deeply value and one with which we are confident we will reach new heights this year.

During the visit, President Melhem reaffirmed our continued support and engaged in meaningful discussions surrounding upcoming health-related and educational initiatives, reinforcing our shared commitment to lasting community impact.

As part of our continued growth, our health days have been intentionally delayed to allow for the development of our systems and the integration of advanced AI-driven solutions. We believe our communities deserve nothing less than innovation, and we remain committed to delivering smarter, more effective, and sustainable healthcare initiatives for our people.

“Meaningful change always begins with people who truly care.”
These words from President Nehme G. Melhem guided our Beirut Revival Luncheon in Boston, bringing together family, friends, partners, and supporters united by one mission.

In his remarks, President Melhem reminded us that
“when we invest in people, we invest in the future.”
Education is about dignity, hope, and giving every child in Beirut the chance to be seen, heard, and supported.

In partnership with the Beirut Revival Foundation, we continue working to uplift underprivileged schools and restore opportunity where it is needed most.

“Today reflects community, shared purpose, and the strength of coming together.”
From Boston to Beirut, we rise together. 🇱🇧✨

During the 2025 Beirut Revival Luncheon hosted in partnership with Melhem Foundation, Mr. Salim Chahine delivered a powerful address on behalf of the Beirut Revival Foundation, highlighting the organization’s mission and the profound importance of supporting education in Beirut’s schools.

He honored the legacy of His Eminence Metropolitan Elias Audi, whose leadership of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut since 1980 has built a culture of openness, dialogue, and service — ensuring that no child is deprived of quality education and no individual in need is left uncared for.

Salim spoke about BRF’s vital role in sustaining schools, social programs, and essential services, especially in the aftermath of the 2020 crisis. He also extended heartfelt thanks to President Melhem and the entire Melhem Foundation team for their partnership and commitment to this shared mission.

Together, we rise for Beirut. 🇱🇧

The Melhem Foundation is proud to reaffirm its partnership with the Saint Porphyrios Association, and we look forward to working closely with them — together with the Beirut Revival Foundation — to strengthen our mission and expand our impact across communities.

United in service. Driven by compassion. Focused on a better future for all. 🤝🌍
