The Moving Health team, represented by our CEO, Emily Young, wrapped up an energizing week filled with collaboration, new ideas, and powerful conversations on global health and development.
From engaging discussions at with Impact Hub and reconnecting with partners like Grand Challenges Canada, to joining GE HealthCare Foundation and BCIU for a dialogue on building stronger health systems, it’s been a week of learning, sharing, and collective vision.
We also had the opportunity to speak at , alongside leaders from The ELMA Philanthropies, Bridges to Prosperity, and Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, exploring how data and collaboration can transform access in rural communities.
At the Clinton Global Initiative and Seneca Women events, we were reminded of the incredible impact that partnership and purpose can create when we work together toward lasting change.
We feel inspired and more committed than ever to advancing access, equity, and innovation in last-mile healthcare.

As part of the CIP Program, Moving Health ambulance drivers received practical training from the National Ambulance Service and the Ghana National Fire Service with the support of the Ghana Health Service of Sissala West and Kassena Nankana West District.
The sessions focused on safe driving, emergency response, and fire safety protocols, ensuring that every trip taken with a Moving Health tricycle ambulance is not only timely but also secure for patients and their families.
By equipping our drivers with these vital skills, we are improving how emergencies are handled in rural communities and making the ambulances more reliable.
Every safe ride means another life protected.

Meet Ruyan, a native of Kong in Sissala East, and the youngest apprentice in our workshop. Though he is naturally quiet and shy, his presence is deeply felt by everyone on the team.
Despite his young age, he has proven himself to be an exceptional talent, especially as our best ambulance test driver, a role that requires focus and precision. In the workshop, Ruyan assists in fabricating the driver’s compartment, learning quickly and showing great attention to detail. His willingness to support wherever needed reflects his dedication not only to his personal growth but also to the success of the entire team.
Outside of his technical duties, Ruyan’s love for music adds a unique energy to the workshop. Known as the DJ of the team, he keeps the environment lively and positive, reminding us all that work can be both productive and joyful.
Ruyan represents the future of innovation and service in Sissala East and beyond.

In rural Ghana, without safe and timely transport, what should be a joyful moment can quickly turn into a life-threatening emergency.
Thanks to the Moving Health tricycle ambulance, another mother made it safely to the clinic, and today, she holds her healthy baby.
This is what your support makes possible: turning moments of fear into stories of life and hope.
