Metabolic health starts in your muscles.
And that’s not only because exercise is good for your health.
Skeletal muscle is your body’s primary “glucose sink,” which means it’s the tissue responsible for the majority of blood glucose uptake after a meal.
As a result, your skeletal muscle helps maintain blood glucose homeostasis.
Women’s muscle mass is an often overlooke portion of “good medicine’ in fertility, pregnancy and perimenopause/menopause. When working with my clients, I help create personalized movement plans to help support their long-term metabolic and hormone health, based on their unique needs and goals.

🌸PMOS Plan🌸
Polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS)/PMOS is one of the most common endocrine disorders affecting women of reproductive age. Yet it remains one of the most misunderstood and underdiagnosed medical conditions.
I’ve put together a new blog post: PCOS Phenotypes: Find Your Type to Build a Laser-Focused Support Plan to help bring more clarity to a complex condition.
By uncovering your unique PCOS type, we can transition away from generic treatments and construct a laser-focused plan that supports your body’s specific needs.

Progesterone is everything but there’s more to know.
Our eyes are on ovulation and implantation, progesterone levels and the second half of the cycle, for obvious reasons. Progesterone is THE hormone of conception.
BUT we must realize everything is built up and the foundations for success are laid in the first half of the cycle!
Rising and proliferative, estradiol plays an important role in the expression of the progesterone receptors(PR), which are needed for the success in the second half of the cycle.
This is equally important for women in perimenopause, for those with endo or pcos to support greater hormone balance.
